Starboy Lyrics Meaning
Abel Tesfaye, better known by his stage name The Weeknd, sings on his identity and personal growth in the opening stanza. “I’m try’n’a put you in the worst mood,” he sings, indicating his impending actions. He’s implying that we won’t be satisfied with our life when he’s through because he’s going to sing about his own accomplishment, which is significant.
He goes on, saying that he drove a “all red Lamborghini just to tease you.” He continues, “none of these toys on lease too.” Unlike other people, he didn’t have to borrow money in order to buy them. He just bought them, or got them given to him.
